Frantom Development Company Limited was founded in 2012 by Robert Francis and Noel Thompson with the sole intention of creating a property development company that will satisfy the aspirational housing needs of prospective homeowners. The first development being undertaken by the company is the Botany Heights Development situated along the southeastern coastline of Jamaica at Creighton Hall in the parish of Saint Thomas.
The development consists of forty one (41) ocean view residential lots ranging in size from 750m² (8,073 sq. ft.) to 1,460m² (15,715.44 sq. ft.) overlooking the Caribbean Sea and one commercial lot. The property is located on the northern side of the main road midway between the towns of Yallahs and Morant Bay, an easy forty minute drive from downtown Kingston.
A qualified Land Surveyor, Noel worked on a number of civil engineering projects in Guyana and the Bahamas. Later, upon graduating from the University of Western Ontario and gaining solid experience working for the Government of Trinidad and Tobago in the energy and major projects sectors Noel ventured on his own and started Development Holdings Ltd in Jamaica. He undertook a number of Infrastructure and residential projects.
An Engineering Surveyor with over 35 years experience in the land development and construction industry in Jamaica. Robert started out at the Survey Department (now National Land Agency, Survey and Mapping Division) where he was trained in all aspect of Land Surveying and Mapping at the Survey School on the campus of the University of the West Indies, Mona.
After leaving the Government service, he joined the firm Morrison and Mae, Commissioned Land Surveyors which later developed into Leslie B. Mae & Associates Limited, Commissioned Land Surveyors and Land Development Consultants, where he was instrumental in the company becoming one of Jamaicas premier Land Surveying and Development Consultancy firms.
